[#003] {Violence for fun and profit} Action/Video
[It's a routine they indulge in whenever they're in the same place for more than a couple of days. This seems like a good enough time to pick it back up, test each other a little, and they claim one of the rooms in the Battle Dome, equipping it with mats and padded walls because while the simulation won't allow them to get really hurt by weapons, Clint isn't sure that it can make getting slammed to the ground any less painful.]
Ready, Tasha?
[He's grinning, as much a mask to hide his intentions as her blank expression. They take up position on the mats opposite each other, and there's no bowing, no politeness, just stillness.
He strikes first, a punch that she blocks, returns with a blow of her own, and then they're fighting in earnest. It's vicious, both of them making use of every move at their disposal, a brutal mix of martial arts and outright brawling, dirty tricks and all.
A throw sends Clint sprawling, hitting the bench where they'd left their stuff, and his journal falls open, starting to record the rest of the fight. To anyone not familiar with them, it does look like they're genuinely trying to kill each other. Neither of them really believe in pulling their punches and they're eerily silent while they fight, neither of them making any noise besides grunts of exertion.
They seemed evenly matched for the most part, Clint's size and strength well matched by Natasha's speed and agility and the training she'd undertaken since childhood. Eventually though, one of them comes out on top, and it's Clint who ends up floored and winded, laid out on his back, Natasha above him, pinning him down and her elbow pressed against his throat.
He groans softly, and then smiles.]
I yield.
[OOC: Responses will be answered by Clint, or Natasha, or more likely, both.]

Looks like I was right and you've been slacking off to the range too much after all.
[It's said teasingly as her hands drop to her thighs, because even on an off-day Clint gives her a workout. They've been doing this for years, improving their skills on each other. She has a slight edge here, in hand to hand, just as he has one on the range.
Back home, they'd usually have spectators by now. The junior agents (and sometimes senior, as well) usually had a betting pool running on who would come out on top on any given day.
But it had still felt good, this. It's been too long since they've been in the same place long enough to indulge in it.]

Well, it was a break from doing inventory at least.
Noticing that the fight is over he decides to comment.]
Nice spar. Are you at the Battledome?

She only gets about halfway through the feed before she shuts it off. This not Rick isn't doing well. The woman on the screen clearly has the advantage. But violence like this? Even if it's for practice, it's not something that should be televised.
Especially when she thinks of the children here in Luceti. And remembers all the horrible Hunger Games she had been forced to watch for as long as she can remember.
There's no keeping the judgement out of her voice when she does decide to reply. The slight scowl.]
Why are you broadcasting this?

And then. Yes. Wow.
Rogue was good enough at hand-to-hand to fully appreciate what she was seeing. Wow.
When they were finished, Rogue moved quickly to claim their room and to greet them. Her uniform has been torn - a gash by her heart, a curling slice high on her left thigh - and mended with thread of a similar color. Despite that, the thread is a much weaker material than Rogue's uniform and for those keenly observant types, the repair work would be obvious.
She's smiling as she goes down to meet them.]
Nice fight, you two.

They're incredible, both of them. But her interest in more on the woman: how she moves, how she reacts to an opponent with superior strength and size. Amelia's no slouch, between her personal practice and the lessons she's been taking. But even she knows she wouldn't stand a chance against either of the two of them.
When they head out, Amelia goes downstairs to meet them. Both are strangers, but that doesn't stop her from walking right up to them.]
That was amazing. [Not the most subtle of introductions, but give her a break. Amelia's adrenaline kicked back up just watching. Realizing how that sounds, she glances between the two of them apologetically.] Sorry. I was upstairs watching.

When things seem to reach its climax he's about to call out to stop because, he's not sure if they are out to kill each other. But when he see's that smile on the man's face that fear goes away. From that smile Henry could gather that this wasn't something to be afraid of. So naturally he goes into being amazed.]
